Oliver Beer, MSc

Academic Bio

Oliver Beer is in his third year of the doctoral program at The Ohio State University, College of Social Work. He earned his BA in Social Work from The Open University and an MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Plymouth, UK. Oliver is a licensed social worker in England, his experience includes child welfare and children with additional needs.

Oliver has presented his research in the U.K., U.S., Japan, and Mexico. Oliver’s research has been published in the British Journal of Social Work, Child Abuse & Neglect, Community Care, and the British Association of Social Workers. In addition, Oliver co-authored a book chapter in 2020.
